When I saw an image of this kit posted on a thread of a hobby forum I frequently visit - I knew I have to have one.
I previously have experience with the MC kits when I bought the Hi-Nu GUNDOOM just out of curiosity. (I'll post it here next since I've mentioned it) - and I must say, the molding was pretty impressive, so when images of this kit surfaced on the internet, I asked my supplier to get me one.
Basically - like the GUNDOOM before it, I was hooked with the design and extra add-on details of the mecha | mobile suit. At first I thought it was a turtle with its shell like armor around it, but when I searched further, I found out that it was based on a currently running Chinese GUNDAM series look-a-like with its own self sustaining story.
I quickly jumped on the YouTube links I can set my eyes on and watched several episodes. Just watched tho with audio off since I cant understand Mandarin and it pains me to hear the voices over the cacophony of surreal sound effects - love the 3D graphics rendition - methinks that Gundam series should at least veer towards this kind of animation, They've done that already with some shorts (Gundam Evolve) and with the IGLOO OVA and I must say Its preeeeety impressive.
Haven't actually assembled this one. Just did an un-boxing to check the contents. Here are the pics....

I have to agree with some of the reviews she makes (and for other video reviewers out there), but most often than not after having the same kit on my hand, I find its rather appealing and not as that hype-down by the review - also goes the other way around... so as a hobbyist like me.... to each his own, love it or hate it - whats important is you bought it coz you want it, not because somebody told you not or otherwise....
